Right now the missionary movement consists of two types of ministries- preaching and the mercy deeds.  But there is a third type of missions - it is the intercessory missions. 

When the preaching missionaries and the mercy deeds missionaries are joined up with the intercessory missionaries, the spiritual atmosphere of the cities will change and the preaching will suddenly become powerful and the mercy deeds will pierce the heart when the good deed is done by the unction of the Spirit. 

When the preaching and the mercy deed is mixed together with the intercessory missionaries in the cities of the earth than the preaching will be like arrows plunging into the hearts of the enemies of righteousness.  When we give a cup of cold water it will pierce hearts and the love of Jesus will seem real like it doesn’t now.

We believe that the ministry we are called to must be entered into in close partnership with those individuals called to intercessory missions.   We believe that God releases speedy justice when we cry out to him night and day. We are going into the darkest places to call forth the destinies of some of the most broken people on the face of the earth. We are confident that all the knowledge and effort possessed by man will be of little consequence against these forces of evil.  Our hope is in the Lord!

Night and day prayer changes the spiritual atmosphere of a city.  It sends a special grace to a region.  Jesus calls it “speedy justice”.

And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.  – Luke 18: 7-8a

It is only through the power of God that lives will be rescued and restored and destinies released.  It is through prayer and fasting that the spiritual atmospheres of cities like Chiang Mai and others across Southeast Asia will begin to change.  It is through prayer that an atmosphere of oppression and fear will change to one of joy, hope and love providing the spiritual and physical environment for hurting individuals to encounter the Father heart of God.

Prayer and fasting is not to pay the price – prayer and fasting tenderizes the spirit so we are a voice and not an echo. It brings us into agreement and contact with the beauty of God’s heart.  It is through this contact that He reveals His purposes to us so we can contend for them.  His purposes are activated through the prayers of His people.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
